Who We Are
We are here for the accessibility to quality Education in Karenni State.
Seh Theh Foundation is a non-profit organization with the mission for helping underprivileged children, youth and marginalized communities including refugees, migrants and Internal Displaced persons (IDPs) through its education in Karenni State, Myanmar.
As STF is a local organization, it consistently promoting MTB-MLE and local culture and tradition. STF has been promoting MTB-MLE by producing developing learning materials with local language. Moreover, STF has been doing other educational activities such as, providing teacher trainings, distributing teaching and learning materials, supporting community teachers’ stipends and working with the community leaders for the accessibility of quality education in rural areas in Karenni/Kayah State, Myanmar
Due to the unstable political situation after the coup in May 2021 in Myanmar, STF main office was temporarily moved to Thai-Myanmar border in Karenni State in August, 2021, and the field offices are temporarily based in Demoso township, and Mawchi area to be able to effectively operating the work.

In 2013, Seh Theh Foundation was born as a Learning Center to empower community youth in Karenni State, Myanmar.

After the military seize the power in 2021 in Myanmar, the country leads to fail state, especially in Karenni State as the governance system, education systems and health care system fail in Karenni State, Myanmar.
Therefore, there are so many things to do.
