Basic Education
Aims to increase accessibility to quality education.
Under the Basic Education Sector, the following educational activities have been implementing since 2016 by STF, under the different project names with different partner and donor organizations.

Higher Education
Aims to produces creative thinkers, problem solvers, sociable and responsible youths who willingly serving their communities development.
Seh Theh College:
Established as a community-driven initiative in Karenni State, Myanmar, Seh Theh College—formerly Seh Theh Learning Center—has been delivering higher education opportunities to youth from diverse backgrounds across Karenni and Southern Shan State since 2013. The college previously offered diploma programs in Community Development, Information Technology, Social Science and Education, designed to cultivate the next generation of community leaders. Year after year, the program design was changed to meet the needs of the local context. Started from 2025, STC upgraded its’ curriculum and programmes and offering Associate Degrees programmes majoring in Community Development and Associate Degree in Education.
Seh Theh College (STC) has empowered around 897 youths from Karenni State since the 1st batch in 2013 till now.
As per the outcomes, the most of the STC graduated students served in community work, community teachers, local CBOs and some are in NGOs. Some alumni got scholarship for their further studies in international universities.
Deeku Education Center: Founded in 2022, preparing students for GED to be able to access to further studies programmes abroads, especially the international graduate programs in Thailand and other Asian countries. There are 121 students who finished the GED preparation program. Among them, 27 students (22 %) of graduates are now in different international under-graduate programs in different universities, while 41% of graduates are serving in the community in different fields and 37% are working to support their families and, at the same time, these students are also seeking for scholarships for their further studies.
MTB-MLE
Aims to promote mother tongue-based multilingual education (MTB-MLE) in schools in Karenni State, Myanmar.

Humanitarian Assistance
In the armed-conflict time, Humanitarian Assistance become a must for us to help our our communities.
After the coup in 2021, STF have to involve in humanitarian assistance sector due to the intense conflict in the Karenni state. More than 2500 households have been received one time support (emergency relief) from STF funded by different funding agencies. The support included rice, salt, oil, tarpulin, blankets, etc.
